Employer Contributions Are No Small Change
While companies that match their employees' contributions to Notre Dame consider those matches an employee benefit, the true beneficiaries are our students. In fiscal year 2007, nearly 6,000 alumni, parents, and friends sought employer matches for their gifts, generating an additional $4.36 million for Notre Dame. Those matching dollars were applied to a host of key University priorities, including financial aid and academic programming.
Thanks to the efforts of all those who not only made a gift, but also arranged for a company match, Notre Dame's Matching Gifts Program ranks first among the nation's institutions of higher education. To learn more about matching gifts, or to see if your company will match a contribution to Notre Dame, click here.

An Update on Athletic Compliance
As we kick off the 2007-2008 academic year and season of athletics here on campus, the Athletic Compliance Office would like to remind you about the importance of knowing and following NCAA compliance regulations. Knowing and following NCAA regulations is paramount to the success of our athletics programs and for keeping intact Notre Dame's tradition of integrity. Violations of the rules could affect not only the eligibility of our future and current student-athletes, but also place the University in jeopardy of sanctions from NCAA.
Please visit the Notre Dame Athletic Compliance Office website to review important NCAA regulations and to view its August newsletter . This month's edition addresses important topics related to the recruitment of prospective student-athletes, including the Notre Dame Athletic Department's Recruiting Policy.
