Looking for a fun, family vacation next summer? You can join the ND Travelin’ Irish alumni and their families on two Adventures by Disney trips that will have you either spending the night in a castle in Ireland or taking an excursion to the home of George Washington.
Your first choice – The Emerald Isle package – will take you across Ireland, from Dublin to Killarney to Shannon and other villages in eight days, beginning June 29, 2008.
In the capital, you’ll go on private tours of Dublin Castle, the Guinness Storehouse and Trinity College, where you’ll find the legendary Book of Kells, produced by medieval monks. Your adventure will continue as you go on bicycle rides along coastal towns, forests, lakes and waterfalls near Killarney National Park. And you’ll enjoy one of the country’s most impressive views of the Atlantic Ocean when you visit the Cliffs of Moher, widely considered to be Ireland’s top tourist attraction.
But if what your family seeks is a vacation as exciting but closer to home, consider the “Spirit of America” package, which takes you to Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C. and Virginia for eight days.
