Ana Marcela Berrios, a senior Accounting major with a supplementary concentration in Journalism, Ethics and Democracy, has been selected as the second recipient of the Hannah Storm Journalism internship. Berrios is working with the Notre Dame Alumni Association as the writing intern during the fall and spring semesters, editing and contributing articles to publications and newsletters.
The internship is funded partially by proceeds from Notre Dame Inspirations, a book written by Storm who co-anchors the CBS News “The Early Show.” Storm, a 1983 grad, received the Alumni Association’s 2007 Harvey Award for achievement in the media or performing arts. She became the first woman to serve as an anchor of a network sports program when she hosted NBC’s coverage of baseball and basketball from 1995-2002.
