Moreau Beatification Note Cards Now Available
To celebrate the beatification of Father Basil Moreau, CSC, founder of the Congregation of Holy Cross, the University commissioned a series of images by renowned photographer Steven Scardina depicting locations on campus and in Le Mans, France. Four iconic campus images from the original exhibit, which was featured in the Main Building throughout the fall 2007 semester, are now included in a commemorative set of 12 note cards. The box set costs $15 and can be ordered online through Irish Shop.

ND Clubs Show Support for Students 
As ND students begin studying for final exams this spring, show them you care by sending them a care package full of snacks and treats. For $10, ND clubs can send students a care package consisting of a gift certificate for a sandwich, candy and other snacks. The care packages will be prepared and delivered to a student by a member of the Alumni-Student Club. [Full Story]

The ND Alumni Association is offering a rare and exciting opportunity to indulge in France’s best culture and cuisine with an exclusive culinary castle tour through the Loire Valley. From May 10-18, you can immerse yourself in France’s unparalleled history, culture and beauty as you visit its stunning châteaux and partake in its luscious culinary delights. Your host and lecturer on this adventure will be Professor JoAnn DellaNeva, who has been a member of the Notre Dame faculty since 1982. A two-time winner of an NEH Fellowship for college professors, her current research focuses on French and Italian poetry of the Renaissance.

NDAA Hosts Cancer Retreat this Summer
This summer, the Notre Dame Alumni Association will team up with the Malibu, Calif.- based Simonton Cancer Center for a special retreat at Notre Dame. The five-day program (held June 15-20) will provide an opportunity for patients and their families to gather on campus for support and strength. [Full Story]

Don’t Suffer Alone
Suffering from the loss of a spouse through death or divorce is a traumatic and overwhelming experience—one that should not be endured alone. That’s why the ND Alumni Association will offer a workshop entitled, “From Mourning to Morning: Working through the Death of a Spouse or Divorce,” from April 11-13. The weekend event will provide a safe and supportive community atmosphere for those experiencing feelings of loss or sorrow. [Full Story]

Month of Service
The Hesburgh Month of Service in May is an annual event for ND clubs and classes. Last year, more than 15,000 people from 162 ND clubs, departments and alumni groups participated in more than 130 community service projects. This year we hope to keep up the momentum and surpass last year’s incredible effort.  Groups were involved in projects such as painting schools, organizing fundraising drives, serving meals to the homeless, and many more. ND Senior Wins Mazda Competition
ND Senior Mallory McMorrow, an industrial design major, beat out more than 400 other college students last November when she won first place in Mazda’s annual design challenge. In a landslide vote, online voters picked McMorrow’s vision of the Mazda3 of 2018, giving her the opportunity to work with Mazda’s head designers and present her model at the L.A. Auto Show.
