Though we live in an age of convenience and multitasking, many people find they still experience three problems: They have too much to do, they face too many interruptions, and their lives just don’t seem to have much meaning anymore. Learn how to streamline your priorities and “Enjoy the Life You Really Want” with a free telecoaching seminar offered this month.
The seminar “Enjoy the Life You Really Want” teaches you the secret to aligned thinking, meaning learning how to align your actions to what you really want. It is designed to help you balance your professional and personal life to get the most from both, which can lead to less stress.
The free telecoaching seminar, which will be offered on Feb. 19 and 21, includes interviews with participants–including alumni--who have successfully completed the pilot program, and who have experienced significant improvements in their personal and professional lives as result.
“The first big thing for me was writing down my professional and personal mission,” says Tom Malone ’67, a lawyer from Denver. “I had heard I should and tried it before with little success. The online tools Aligned Thinking provided made it easy.”
“Aligned Thinking helped me see, balancing professional and personal life is not enough. They have to support each other,” says Kevin Monahan ’94, director of the Career Center at Notre Dame. “In this new way my work wins, my family wins and I really win. I enjoy less stress and guilt. I’m 100% wherever I’m at.”
The seminar features an interview with Dr. Jim Steffen ’66, author of the Amazon.com best-selling book, Aligned Thinking: Make Every Moment Count, and created the “Enjoy the Life You Really Want” program.
All Notre Dame alumni and their significant others are invited to reap the benefits of this free 70-minute telecoaching seminar that will provide the tools needed for a lifetime of aligned thinking. Participants will learn the three key questions to enjoy the life they really want—and how to answer them, and also learn the 10 mistakes anyone can avoid when trying to achieve their goals.
Dr. Steffen has researched aligned thinking for more than 40 years by interviewing employees of Fortune 500 companies. He then compiled the responses of thousands of participants to develop the Aligned Thinking process, which he taught in a two-day seminar for more than 30 years. Just recently, Dr. Steffen converted the seminar to a telecoaching series, making it more convenient for participants — and leading to more immediate life-changing results.
Participants in the telecoaching seminar will learn how to:
- accomplish more, and accomplish more of the important things
- enjoy less stress AND less guilt
- turn interruptions into opportunities
- clarify what is so important that they want to get up every day
- pinpoint the three keys to getting the most from their personal time
- clarify how to balance your personal and professional life
- grow spiritually as they grow professionally and personally
The teleseminar will be offered four times: Tues., Feb. 19 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. ET and Thurs., Feb. 21 at Noon and 6:00 p.m. ET. If you can’t make it to any of the live sessions, the program will be available on the Internet the evening of Feb. 21.
