The Notre Dame Forum has become the traditional way of inaugurating each new academic year with an intellectual discussion on a significant issue for our nation, world, and Church.
Last October, more than 3,000 ND students, faculty and alumni gathered at the Joyce Center for the third annual event. The topic was immigration--an issue that has raised our national conscience and provoked calls for legislative reform.
The discussion on immigration has continued this semester through ongoing campus events. And now, ND clubs can join in the dialogue.
The Alumni Association has made available a new toolkit to help ND club members connect the ND Forum to their local clubs. The kit includes a video of the Forum that can be shown to a small group of club members, followed by a discussion on immigration. The toolkit also contains facilitator guidelines to help club leaders lead the discussion.
To order the ND Forum toolkit, club members can contact Karen L. Conway ’89, Alumni Association director, Alumni Academic Programs at 574-631-5940 or by e-mail at kconway@nd.edu.
