For Father Ted, no gift is more important than the one that helps Notre Dame students to be “educated for a life of service.” That’s why he is asking every member of the Notre Dame family to make whatever gift they can to the Notre Dame Our Mother Scholarship, a new fund created to help students in serious financial straits.
More than 375 alumni and friends have already answered his call. Collectively, their gifts have netted just over $53,000 for the scholarship. “There is no such thing as an insignificant gift,” Father Ted said. “Every gift to Notre Dame is a great one, as far as I am concerned.”
Now through June 30, 2008, gifts to the Notre Dame Our Mother Scholarship, the unrestricted fund, or the Sorin Society will be matched up to $100 through the Annual Fund Community Challenge. To make your gift, click here.
