2007 Club Award Winners

The following awards were presented at Alumni Senate on April 24, 2009 to recognize clubs for their programming during 2008.

Lennon Award — Recognizes ND clubs whose level of excellent performance in all areas of club activity over a period of years is such that the club would tend to dominate the “Outstanding Club Award.”

Denver (club size AA)

Outstanding Club Award — Recognizes one club in each size classification that has excelled above all others in support of the University’s mission and in service to its local constituents. The designation is made by the Clubs Committee at the Alumni Senate.

Diversity Club Award — Bestowed on behalf of the Diversity Committee of the Alumni Association Board of Directors, this award recognizes clubs that heighten the visibility of minority leadership and consistently encourage minority involvement in club-sponsored programs while implementing activities that promote diversity.

Senior Alumni Participation Award — Bestowed annually during the Alumni Senate to recognize a club’s active engagement of senior alumni and friends (age 55+) in leadership roles, program development and overall participation in club-sponsored events. Special emphasis is given to clubs that promote senior involvement across all six elements of Club Program Excellence.

Club, Class and Group Website Awards  — Presented to clubs, classes and groups with excellent websites.  Award criteria include content richness, user friendliness, creativity, visual appeal, copywriting and overall site effectiveness.

Program Excellence Award Winners — Recognizes clubs judged to have an outstanding overall program by the Alumni Association.
