PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS
Landscape setting, available on most digital cameras, makes everything in the picture equally sharp, especially useful when capturing expansive views. This even focus across the entire image is created by reducing the aperture, or size of the opening in the lens, to let light into the camera from different distances. The “landscape mode” is also useful when photographing large crowds of people |
TRAVEL SAFETY TIPS
The U.S. Department of State encourages U.S. citizens traveling abroad to register with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate through travelregistration.state.gov/ibrs/ui. Once registered, travelers can receive information about family emergencies at home and updates on travel and security while still abroad. Current worldwide caution, travel warnings, and travel alerts can be found at travel.state.gov. |
DON'T WRITE OFF TRAVEL INSURANCE
Expect the unexpected when traveling abroad - emergencies can happen at any time. If you are injured, or suffer a heart attack or a stroke, you might have to be moved to a place that has better medical care. Get travel insurance and make sure it provides for medical evacuation, which can be extremely expensive without insurance.
Check out the Travel Program's website for more information about Travel Insurance Select. |
