Travel has long been a part of the history and traditions of the Christian life. Although the means of transportation have changed, the reason for taking a religious journey remains much the same: spiritual enlightenment and a first-hand exploration of how culture, history, and the heritage of faith interact. Join us as we visit Portugal, southern France, and Spain: from Lisbon and its Jeronimos Monastery and the Church of St. Anthony, to the Church of the Holy Miracle in Santarem, to Fatima and, of course, Lourdes where there will be ample time for personal reflection and opportunities to join the evening rosary and candlelight processions. Then in Saragossa, visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pilar before a final stop in exciting and historic Madrid.
