Canyon Country Family Adventure

July 14-21, 2010
Explore the historic, beautiful American West on this ultimate family adventure. First, see the spectacular Grand Canyon from a hotel located right on the rim. Hike the trails, then watch a glorious sunset as the canyon walls turn orange, red, and purple. Continue on to Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park, where you can explore the area that was a favorite of many Western movie directors. In the evening get to know the local Native American residents at a cookout as you listen to ancient stories and watch traditional dances. The next day, Navajo guides will lead you on a 4-wheel-drive tour of the stunning rock formations.  Visit Lake Powell, go on a Glen Canyon float trip, then ride horseback through the Bryce Canyon. Enjoy a day of hiking in Zion National Park before a final night celebration in glittering Las Vegas. This trip combines adventure with American heritage for a truly exciting and family-friendly excursion into the West.
