Host: Rev. John Pearson. C.S.C. ’68, ’71 MA
Father John Pearson is the assistant superior at Moreau Seminary on campus and campus minister at Saint Mary’s College. Previously, he served Notre Dame by teaching in the Law School for 15 years and serving as chaplain to graduate students. He is a Chicagoan, a Southside Cub fan (there aren’t too many of those) and did his high school seminary, college, and theology at Notre Dame (that making him a double Domer). He was ordained in 1973, and after nine years in parish ministry, obtained a law degree at the University of California, Berkeley, in 1985. After preparing for teaching through clerking for a judge and working for three-and-a-half years in a California law firm, he returned to Notre Dame. He loves traveling with alumni because they come to the journey with much in common and very much enjoy one another’s company and the chance to explore together.
