Tax Assistance Program

During the heart of tax season, many Notre Dame alumni participate in T.A.P., the ND Tax Assistance Program. Volunteers donate their time to prepare tax returns for eligible families at no cost. This important service ensures the receipt of earned tax credit for those who might not otherwise realize the benefit. Many clubs collaborate with local agencies such as parishes, community centers and AARP groups in order to reach as many clients as possible.

Notre Dame Professor of Accountancy, Kenneth W. Milani, founded T.A.P. in 1972. Each year Ken still manages over 100 volunteers to help Michiana area residents file their returns. 90% of the volunteers are ND students. Read more about the program from the Mendoza College of Business.
