Will Your Employer Match Your Gift to ND?
Matching gifts are easy to arrange and-best of all-can double and, in some cases, triple the impact of your donation. To learn more about matching gifts or to see if your company will match your contribution to Notre Dame, please visit supporting.nd.edu/annual-giving/matching-gifts/.

Take Advantage of Your IRA
Last year's Pension Protection Act included a provision allowing individuals 70½ years of age or older to make tax-free distributions directly from their Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) to qualifying charities.
This is a simple way for you to make a gift to Notre Dame, particularly for gifts up to the $100,000 maximum that would otherwise trigger higher tax brackets and various phase-outs. It also makes sense for non-itemizers, who would otherwise take the money from their IRA as income and thus not qualify for a charitable deduction.
The provision expires at the end of 2007, so now is the time to take advantage of an IRA rollover gift. For more information, contact Janet Jessup in the Office of Gift Planning at (574) 631-2661 or jjessup@nd.edu.

Teaching Great Leadership
Leaders from some of the most successful corporations in the country are finding there's still opportunity to grow and develop their leadership skills. Through Notre Dame's Executive Integral Leadership (EIL) program, a weeklong seminar, participants gain an appreciation for the whole person, including one's health, wellness and spirituality.
